My aunt told us about her signs of diabetes in women which started with flu-like symptoms. Initially, she ignored the symptoms because she thought she was just feeling sick. However, the flu keeps coming back even after she had gone to see the doctor. The next sign, which she attained, were tingling in her hands and feet. According to her, when there is too much sugar in your blood, it could cause nerve problems especially within the tiny blood vessels. She felt tingling and burning sensations in her hands, feet, legs, and arms. She realized that it has became worst when she noticed the skin around her neck, armpit, and groin had suddenly turned darker than usual. Since this type of sign of diabetes only happens in one person in every 300 people, she knew it could be something serious. These are just some of the signs of diabetes in women that my aunt had experienced.
